Each song on Aymeja's album Damage Control seems to stretch and scratch at reality with a hint of catastrophic scope and time stopping ambition, bringing together the beat maker community with one groove from end to beginning. Like a record, the vinyl kind, you know what I’m saying. Damage Control is the latest effort, involving and evolving producer musicians like Ian Foxfire, J. Reeves, DONKEYTRON's Crackbaby, Junio Dragon, and William James.Dropping heavy, with the beats of futuristic primitivism. Aymeja’s red roots reach down deep into the subterranean underground dance scene. Aymeja has a history of free-styling with many of the best old-school DJ’s the west coast had to offer. Now it’s her turn to sharpen the pencil and write, sipping and dipping into her knowledge of love, heartbreak and Damage Control to entertain and move your feet.
Aymeja’s music is a cooperation of Trip-Hop, Jazz, Techno, and Drum & Bass sounds complementing her relaxed vocal performance.
